본문내용
Hotel industry have labor-intensive characteristics. It can be seen that the physical or psychological well-being of employees who greet customers has a greater effect on productivity. In order to achieve the hotel's goal of customer satisfaction and improve performance amid rapidly changing corporate environments, hotel organizations have been making continuous efforts to change their behavior through changes in the organizational environment.Individual leisure activities of employees increase work motivation and work efficiency, and improve productivity by reducing work stress and fatigue (Kim & Son, 2003). Research on hotel employees using SDT theory has been continuously studied in recent years. Namgoong(2018)’ s study was revealed that hotel employees with a high level of autonomy and competence in basic psychological needs have high intrinsic motivation and can reduce emotional labor. Many prior studies have proposed a theoretical model in order to explain the important role of psychological well-being perception in hotel employees.
